General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
the youth golf tournament organization [Pro1Putt Open]
1. Scope
These terms and conditions apply to participation in youth golf tournaments organized and conducted by [Pro1Putt Open] (hereinafter referred to as "the Organizer"). They govern the contractual relationship between the Organizer and the participating individuals or their legal guardians.
2. Eligibility
Children and young people up to the age of 21 are eligible to participate, provided they hold a valid golf membership at the time of the tournament and meet the respective participation requirements.
Registration must be done by a parent or guardian, or approved by them in writing.
3. Registration and Payment Terms
Registration can be done online or in writing using the registration form.
Participation is only binding once the registration fee has been paid in full.
A refund of the participation fee, less a 50% cancellation fee, is only possible if the cancellation is made in writing no later than 30 days before the start of the tournament.
No refund will be given for cancellations made at short notice (less than 30 days before the tournament).
4. Conducting the tournaments
The organizer reserves the right to postpone or cancel the tournament in the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., severe weather, official regulations, force majeure).
Changes to the schedule or rules of the tournament may be made up until the start of the event and will be communicated to the participants in a timely manner.
5. Conduct, dress code and supervision
The participating young people commit to sporting fair behavior and to complying with the golf course rules and the instructions of the tournament management.
A strict dress code applies: Players must wear appropriate golf attire. Jeans are not permitted.
In addition, the house and course rules of the hosting golf club apply and must be observed by all participants.
During the tournament, the parents/guardians assume responsibility for supervision, unless supervision has been expressly assumed by the organizer.
6. Hole-in-One Prize
A potential hole-in-one prize will only be awarded on the final day.
If several players score a hole-in-one on the final day, the winnings will be divided equally among them.
The detailed conditions as stated in the tournament announcement apply.
7. Liability
Participation is at your own risk. The organizer accepts no liability for health risks or injuries arising in connection with participation in the tournament, unless caused by gross negligence or intent.
No liability is accepted for the loss of or damage to personal belongings.
8. Data protection / Photo and video recordings
During the event, photos and videos may be taken, which may be used for public relations purposes (e.g. website, social media, press releases).
By registering, the parents/guardians agree to this, unless they object in writing before the event begins.
9. Final Provisions
German law applies.
Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
The place of jurisdiction is the organizer's registered office, insofar as legally permissible.
