General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
the youth golf tournament organization [Pro1Putt Open]
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to participation in youth golf tournaments organized and conducted by [Pro1Putt Open] (hereinafter "Organizer"). They govern the contractual relationship between the Organizer and the participants or their legal guardians.
2. Eligibility to participate
Children and young people up to the age of 23 who have a valid golf membership at the time of the tournament and who meet the advertised participation requirements are eligible to participate.
Registration must be made by a parent or guardian or approved in writing by that parent or guardian.
3. Registration and payment conditions
Registration can be done online or in writing using the registration form.
Participation is only binding once the registration fee has been paid in full.
A refund of the participation fee less any transaction fees is only possible if cancellation is received in writing no later than 30 days before the start of the tournament.
In case of short-term cancellation (less than 30 days before the tournament), a refund minus any transaction fees will only be given upon presentation of a medical certificate.
4. Conduct of the tournaments
The organizer reserves the right to postpone or cancel the tournament in case of unforeseeable events (e.g. severe weather, official regulations, force majeure).
Changes to the tournament schedule or rules may be made up until the start of the event and will be communicated to participants in a timely manner.
5. Behavior, dress code and supervision
The participating young people undertake to behave in a fair and sporting manner and to comply with the golf course rules and the instructions of the tournament management.
A mandatory dress code applies: Players must wear appropriate golf attire. Jeans are not permitted.
In addition, the house and course rules of the hosting golf club apply and must be observed by all participants.
During the tournament, the parents/guardians assume responsibility for supervision, unless supervision has been expressly assumed by the organizer.
6. Hole-in-One Prize
A possible hole-in-one prize will be awarded exclusively on the final day.
If several players achieve a hole-in-one on the final day, the winnings will be divided equally among them.
The detailed conditions according to the tournament announcement apply.
7. Liability
Participation is at your own risk. The organizer assumes no liability for health risks or injuries arising in connection with participation in the tournament, unless there is gross negligence or intent.
No liability is assumed for loss or damage to personal belongings.
8. Data protection / photo and video recordings
During the event, photographs and videos may be taken and used for public relations purposes (e.g. website, social media, press releases).
By registering, the parents/guardians agree to this, unless they object in writing before the start of the event.
9. Final provisions
German law applies.
Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of the organizer, as far as legally permissible.
